I don't know they don't really do much for me.

Maybe they'll grow on me over time.

I love the stripped down, work-horse look of the single hum stop-tail model. They're so cheap I'm gonna have to grab one just to see what it's like...

:D

Orange, no man I appreciate the picture. I hadn't seen any pictures of the Sub-guitar only of the sub-bass.

But they just aren't me.

Jimi D, what's cheap??

i dig the one humbucker one... very cool. im probably going to get one when they come out.

God bless,

Tony

Why do you suppose that they decided to finish the neck? Doesn't that make it less appealing than the other models?

You'll never make it stick dude - they didn't scallop the fretboard (probably just to avoid the lawsuit!) ;)

Well I didn't do that at first...come on, i think i have a chance!

Still anyone know how much these are gonna be or have any specs on them???? I havent seen any news about them on this site..

I think they're supposed to hit the street around $550-$650 (street, not list)... Don't quote me on that tho' - I can't remember where I got that impression :p

I had the same impression as Jimi D. on the price. I was thinking I read it somewhere...either on here or maybe a press release/article. Anyone know if there was a press release from EBMM on the SUB? Would be very cool at such a price.

Probably less labor to shoot a satin black on the neck instead of the oil finish.

As for the feel, I've tried out a couple of Sub basses and they felt great. Didn't detract from the feel at all, but not quite as nice, of course.

Here ya go, straight from the horse's mouth:

Figure the $595-$695 retail to get anywhere from a 15-30% markdown, depending on how generous your dealer is and factoring in the usual supply vs. demand and taxes, and I'd think you'll probably see prices around $550-$650 range. Not a bad deal for a new EBMM...
