Hopefully JP isn't too intimidated having to play with the guy that makes all those bad ass guitars for him. Like eating dinner with the chef. It just seems right to me.

THe guy said While a fine guitar player Sterling ball is he obviously doesnt realize how great John Petrucci is and that basically I dont belong on the stage with him...

What league? I thought the whole idea of a jam was to come together as musicians and just enjoy playing together? Since when did this become a contest?

And, most of the time you're onstage with them, it's because you're representing your line of guitars. Who else better to do the job? If that doesn't make you deserving of being onstage with Steve Morse and John Petrucci, then honestly, I don't know what does.

I always believe, that if you're a car manufacturer, would you build something you won't drive yourself? So, likewise, as a guitar manufacturer, what better than to prove to the world that you make guitars that YOU would play?

That was a blast K I think it sounded pretty damn good!

It was among the 2 or 3 happiest moments ive felt in all the years (over 35) ive played guitar. the perfect combination of fear and exhiliration. With a shot of gratitude thrown in.

And Norm capturing that moment. Im happy all over again. Thanks Norm!

Nothing can match the power of music shared with people that mean a great deal in your life.

Vito I spent the day at Spyglass watching Marty the CEO chop it up in the ATT...we had a blast...

did you play professionally?

Not even close... Played high school golf, and did a lot of the area amateur circuit after college. But a growing daughter and starting my own business changed my priorities a bit. Only play 10-12 rounds per year now. Which is sad, because I live on a beautiful links course here, but the majority of my golf consists of an 8-iron, a pocket full of balls, and the dog running wild.

Looking forward to AK getting it going this year. I hope you're still "mentoring" him, and continuing to provide that influence he needs. He has all the tools to be a HUGE star.

A bit of humor: Before going out to dinner tonite, I decided to check the board. Here's what transpired (honest!):

ME: Hey! Check it out! Poppa replied to my post!
DAUGHTER: Does that mean you get a grill?

How funny is that?
