:) BP.

Pete is one great guy to do business with.

Thank you Pete DuBaldo!

My next worry is grand kids arriving faster than I can order basses. :)

tk, I'm glad the bass has arrived safely! Enjoy it, it was a blast checking it in upon arrival. I didn't get to play it for more than a few seconds, but for those few seconds I felt like a warrior and I was ready to defend my turf from invading guitarists :D

BP and I have a smooth business relationship (IMHO), and I am happy just having the ability to do what I do while working with such a great company. I've had the opportunities to host some fantastic clinics, had some great experiences with the 20th Silos, Dargies and BFRs, etc, and I don't think I can say "Thank you BP & co" enough without sounding too much like an asskisser (that's where I like Nick to stand up and wave)

Well if you wanna know I weigh 135 pounds before supper. :)

I am too proud of it right now to feel the weight of the bongo. I am guessing right around 10 pounds.

With vodka I would probably just start looking like Jack and then I wouldn't be able to play skynyrd any more BP. :)

This is an awesome bass sir.

If you are asking about the C string not too often yet. :D it is my first 6 string ever.

I am used to playing 5 all the time so they all work pretty natural for me. I am liking the C string when I get to some of those runs that would have had me stretching on the g string on the 5er.

I am enjoying getting used to it. It is a great bass and perfect work done by the crew that made it.

TK, now that you have one I want one too!
No more position shifting ever, just nail the thumb down at the proper position and stay, 's a pretty neat feat methinks:D

Have you noticed any difference in sound compared to the 5'er?

It sounds the same to me as Aggie does. They both now have the same strings and the only weak spot on either is the guy playing them.

It is like it was when I went from a 4 to a 5 string. Just getting used to it and once I do old hat no looking at frets and fingers it will just happen.

The bongo 6 I am working on still but getting it. I totally love it and have played more than I have in a long time.
