There is no further news to be released about his model at this point in time, hopefully we hear something soon.

Pete, can you please tell me what the color is on the 40th Anniversary Stingray? Some kind of sunburst to green?

It's a clone of the aged burst finish on the original one, under the NAMM lights it does look slightly green - think of a vintage bass that was played in a smoky bar for decades.

I was there yesterday. To me, the neck of the Cutlass felt quite similar to the Silhouette Special. In my weekend warrior guitar player opinion, it seemed the Cutlass was a combination of the Silhouette Special and a Fender Stratocaster. I liked it alot.

That's a good assessment of the neck, very comfortable right off the bat. The neck on the Valentine model is similar as well.
