I think the sunburst on Paul Warrens JP is the best colour I've seen on a JP BFR to date which makes me wonder why it never made production. I can't imagine it would be JP's final decision when it comes to colour options as the Luke BFR shares the same pallette...

How did you come by it Paul?

BP any plans to extend the BFR colour lines?

Paul was given the guitar as a gift from JP and EBMM for his work as JP's forum administrator. His tobaccoburst and JP's are the only ones out there for the public to see. Only time will tell if this colour becomes an option. I wouldn't count on it, but never say never... look at the 2007 LE's.

I have to agree, I love this color. It's just awesome in person especially. It's a very warm looking guitar.

As was mentioned, the guitar was a gift. I've worked for John since around 2000 running his website, handling his merch for a couple of years, and doing some graphic design for him. It was certainly a complete surprise to receive such a wonderful gift and I'm just incredibly thankful to him and EB/MM.
