Wow guys awesome...................wish I could have made it. I may have walked out with something too.
Gotta say this was a fun time. BP and Mr. Petrucci were on stage for about 2 hours. They discussed everything from technique to musical pet peeves. There was a nice Q&A session and John only got to play one full song because of all the back and forth. Gotta say BP is a monster player, at one time he was rocking out nicely on a baritone BFR. There was some nice back and forth jamming between John and BP. Very cool!
Big thanks to the Ball family and the Petrucci family.
I'm sure some other forumers will post some nice pics. I only have one, but not of the clinic. Okay, before you look, I gotta say one thing. I gave everyone there a chance to buy one of the one-of's before I got involved 'cause I didn't want to be a pig. Pete D. got the Silver Burst, I got the rest. Pictures do not do these beauties justice, when I saw them in person my jaw dropped.
Is that the silverburst JP that was on display in the desert last fall? Congrats to both of you!

Wow, of course ernie1966 gets 3 of them
How does the tone of each one differ from each other and the regular BFRs?
When JP played the Walnut one off at the clinic, it sounded thicker and punchier than the regular bfr's to my ears. JP even commented on how heavy it sounded.
