Zoph make sure when you ship it to Jon that you use lots and lots of peanuts, Jon often likes to bath in them

lolol! Will do! Thanks for the tip... I'm sure the guitar shop will do that for me :D.. I'll keep you guys updating on the progress.... Even playing it now, its the most amazing guitar I've ever played, my sweeping and picking is better on it! Final question though.... whats the thickest string you can put on the B string?

If I were you I would stick with the factory 10's through 56...I say this because the Pet is a precision instrument with the lowest nut I've ever seen, adding larger guages might require nut filing, and that could get tricky...but here are Ernies other 7 string guages:

7-String Power Slinky® 11-14-18p-28-38-48-58 2620

So I'm confused are you still having issues with your PEt?

Yeah, I just found it odd, that the shop put 52s or 50s on it... and claimed they couldn't put any more, or perhaps I made a mistake, its so floppy though! it feels like an 8/9!

Let's not forget, the best people in the world are the ones that buy the best guitars in the world made by the best builders in the world, and sometimes they need repairs by the best repair people in the world. Of course the endorsees are some of the best guitar and bass players in the world, not to mention this forum is the best forum in the world...
