Yeah Rich, I got home alright. I didn't get home til about 7AM or so. What a great night. I'm glad that JP told me that he was happy with how the Koa sounded, because now I'm really excited to get mine. It was definitely cool sitting and talking to JP, he's awesome. So down to earth and friendly. Thanks again for the invite man. Hopefully we can do that again sometime. Twas the highlight of my year, and what a way to bring the summer to an end.

did you ask him about the mark 5 ?
he doesn't know anything about a Mark 5(sorry guys)
R.S made a portotype a few years ago and yes it said mark 5. Because that prototype was made(and people found out about it,it stired up ALOT of questions) it HAD( meaning the name ) to be trademarked...(never know years from now at some point that name might be used by Mesa and now it's sercure.

Yeah it's odd that the Mark IV was discontinued especially because of it's increasing popularity. Perhaps we can expect something new and great from Mesa next year!

John just said that he's loving the ebony. He did say that he has a Koa model and he thinks its the one from NAMM. He said that he didn't really get to crank it up yet.
