Just out of curiosity, is this bridge (loosely) derived from the Gotoh Wilkinson Tremolo? I was just wondering what's the closest match to a JP custom bridge that's available out there to put on a custom guitar...

Thanks! :)

In terms of feel and function, the Wilkinson is very close... However, the tone simply isn't quite there IMHO. I'd suggest looking into Hipshot.

Cheers

I agree about the Wilkenson being close. The JP bridge is the best I've ever used but the Wilkenson is very very close in terms of feel and tone.

as far as I know the JP Bridges were designed from the same one thats on any other EBMM but Jp wanted a place to rest his hand so they added the metal block covering half of the saddles

cant remember where I read that
