Sorry to hear that, man. There is nothing like looking forward to something (especially something cool like a new guitar), and then suddenly not getting that expectation met. I know the feeling. I thought I had a guitar stolen once, but finally the UPS guy rolls up a day late, and at 8pm to top it off! This was, of course, after I called the manufacturer swearing that it had been stolen.

Anyways, if it makes you feel better I was inspired by our little discussion of George so I just got done jamming over a chord vamp I laid down based on Wicked Sensation. Of course, I used my JP. Sorry, I'm not trying to rub it in, I promise!

I can't wait for you to get it and hear your reaction! What color did you order, btw? Mine is a Mystic w/matching headstock, no peizo, dot inlays.

yeah, story of my life...oh well..I wasn't about to burn a whole damn day though just to wait for the thing..cause if I did, it wouldn't have shown up till five..lol

I got a pearl redburst..love that color....head stock doesn't match, but I kinda like the way that look....

Yup, I'm kinda of weird about matching headstocks. I only like them with certain colors, and Mystic is one of those colors that matching the headstock makes sense to me.

However, I would have done exactly the same as you had I ordered the redburst. That looks very classy with the headstock plain like that. Excellent choice! It's going to be awesome.

I'd been conemplating trying to swap my axis for a JP even..when I saw this on ebay...100% ebay rating and it's in killer condition from the pix...so I went with it..I THINK I got a good deal...at least, that's what alotta teh locals here told me..lol

and I agree with the headstocks..some just match up better..I think the more 'pastel' type colors, if you will, look better with matching, like yours...for some reason, this color red looks good with the natural headstock..had I gotten a lava red or another red, I probably woulda gotten matching..if I got it new that is.lol
