The green swirly Axis looks stunning, would that have been an aftermarket jobby?

I think its owner has posted here before - but I'm pretty sure it's a JP6 - definitely a custom paint job.
I'd like to get a used JP6 and get the Picasso (old JP model) paint done to it myself.

P.S. - What guitar collection are all those EVHs from? Pretty Wicked.

It sure was (and it IS a JP6,. just for the record). I had it done by a guy named Herc Fede who did some of the very first original swirlys for Ibanez. Unfortuantely, his web site is gone and I understand he fell under bad health and is no longer doing any guitar work. Very sad. Great guy too. It took longer than expected to get my guitar and so when I finally got it, he had installed glow-in-the-dark fret markers (yes, the paint on the body is glow-in-the-dark, too) on the side of the fingerboard for free because he felt bad about not delivering it on time. Talk about customer service!
