I think I'm having honeyburst Axis fever lately and the guitar I just saw in another thread has only made it worse. I've done some looking, however the results I see tend to be examples with maple boards.

I really want to see more examples of a honeyburst Axis (super sports too) w/ RW board and matching HS preferably....but non matching is good too.

Yeah, I'm Right there with you. I saw it too and it really made me appreciate that finish on the axis. Lefty too! Our thirst may never be quenched.

Lefties are really hard to get, I couldn't find one in ireland ended up getting it from Wales.
It is a beautiful finish nearly makes me want to play skinny strings !
