I'd look for some after market knobs though. The white on those just doesn't look right to me on this guitar.

I have to agree with you there. I have a Silhouette Special SSS / RW / Matching / Tremelo on order. I've been thinking that gold knobs would look great on this guitar, but I'll have to wait until I see it to make that judgement. I'd like to get my hands on the same gold knobs I saw on an LE08 Luke. I also think black knobs with gold markers would look fantastic. The black w/white markers looks out of place in the pictures -- but seeing it in person may be a totally different thing.

Is there any reason why those knobs seen on the Luke wouldn't work on the Silhouette (e.g. does the pickguard restrict the type of knob)? Just curious. Again, I'm going to wait and see how it looks in person.

All that being said, I'm so excited to get my Silo Special :D

The white sorta goes as the fretmarkers and nut are white.
I just think it the knobs would be that much cooler like some of the other EBMM guitars have gold knobs. (I'm not complaining, just being the designer that I am!)

Those knobs would look awesome on the Silhouette! This color rocks. It looks like it's a pain to photograph. Can't wait to see it in person!!!!!!!

This finish is gorgeous. I have some other pics of the STL5 somewhere that shows it off a little better. It certainly is one of those you have to see in person to truly appreciate how beautiful it is.

mb99zz, where in VA are you?

I don't plan on having sex with it, though it is a looker!
I'd agree for a change that it will look great with matching as well.
But I'd still want mine naked!

I'm in NOVA - Loudoun County. Where in Chesapeake are you? I used to go down to Chesapeake quite a bit for business -- Greenbriar area.
