I had a trans black evh, as time went on the colour went from a black to a green (it wasn't exposed to direct sunlight a lot in case you're wondering). i wonder if this problem with it unable to hold its colour over time was the reason they stopped it

My bank account and girlfriend are going to hate me, but I'd probably get one if they did a limited run. What the heck... It would be sweet!

Any response from EBMM people?

Maybe if we had enough forumites' committment to buy them, EBMM would consider doing a "short run" of trans black axis guitars....????

BP?????

Sorry Dude!
But you're major dreaming!!!!

They've got a zillion things in the works. It's all about going forward and not rehashing the past.

Limited Run

We asked our sales rep today, and he's checking into it.
Unfortunately, he did not sound very optimistic...

I thought I would share this pic I snapped today of our basses....

Nice pic!

Trust me, the sales rep is wasting his time.

Limited Editions are the only limited runs you will see. Except of course BFRs.

Fogman, aren't you just a ball of joy and opitimism?!?!

LOL!!!!
Trust me. I feel bad doing it. I think most newbies have gone through this.
BP and company are very busy. Sure they chime in here which is super awesome. But in the end, they've got a lot of work to do.
You could do a search and find many such post and request. We are already previleged to get inside info here. But it doesn't mean we alter the course of the EBMM vision.
I merely anwered this so that someone else didn't have to say the same thing.
Personally I'd love to see Pearl Blue come back. But if I want it, I must buy a used one. I'd also love to see a black colour with some silver metal flake in it too. I'm not holding my breath. We all have personal desires and great ideas. I'm in the creative field and ideas are a dime a dozen. Executing them is an entirely different thing. Process and economics usually dictate.
So please don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to burst any bubbles. We all need to dream. I'm just giving you the straight out answer. :)

I'm not giving up...I really want one!
I could be wrong on this, but I think they had an issue a long time ago with some of the colors fading (including the trans black, purple, etc.)....but they fixed it by changing the dye process or something along those lines (BP is much better with chemicals that I am ; p)
I'm sure you could search the threads and find the facts....
