Lol, I just had the thought...

What if Ernie Ball Musicman added a new sort of series to the John Petrucci Model, which included the 'Picasso' color/pattern scheme he had on his older Ibanez guitars. (Please don't shoot me for mentioning a different company. :p )

( ^ Just a picture to show you the pattern.)

What are your thoughts? I know the chances of this being put into play are extremely unlikely, but it's just my little childhood idea.

*Realized I spelled "Picasso" wrong in the title.*

it would really come down to what John Petrucci wanted as it's his guitar. ask him your question at the next clinic he does near your house?

I guess, the first question is as who owns the rights to this design. That's where usually the problems come up....

Secondly, I think the "picturesque" designs have been come out of fashion a while ago....though I really like some of the ideas that where put on display models at some fairs etc. But maybe the beast has been buried too long ago to be reanimated ;-)

However, the pic above is very cool....congrats

That would be hot if each of the colors was color-shifting! Not that it isn't cool now, but wouldn't that be freakin' awesome!?

That was Norrin Radd's; he sold it, I think.

Ibanez owns to rights to the Picasso pattern, so it's not happening.
