Pick-a-color poll: Bongo 5 Hp fretless

There might be a fretless Bongo somewhere in my future. No decisions yet, but it's a nifty idea (last weekend I sat in with a solo acoustic guitarist/singer, and what I was doing cried out for fretless).

If it happens, it will be a Bongo 5, H with piezo. Bear in mind when you choose the color that pau ferro is a lot lighter than rosewood.

Choose one of the three combos listed, or, if you really think you've got a better idea, post a pic that you think will change my mind.

Nice, but that always kind of said "VEGAS, BABY!" to me. Shiny suits, pinky rings and upholstered Kustom amps. Seems like it'd fit in with Murph & The Magictones, if you know what I mean.

I'd definitely have medallion gold if I could get the color past my wife. Yes, she must approve all bass purchases, and the main thing she basses her opinion on is color. I have to avoid the "I won't be seen with you if you play that bass" heh. And, yes, she plays keyboard/piano. No wonder marriage was a ruff start LOL

Hmmm....I'm not entirely sure that's Carbon Blue. That might be Pearl Blue.

I'm seriously considering a Teal as my next Bongo. I don't see a whole lot of those...

The carbon blue/abalone sure does look sweet, but being a pretty conservative guy black/tort is pretty appealing to me...

How about it? Can I get a little black/tort love, here?

I originally voted for the black/tort combo - very classic, but that carbon blue pearl with the moonstone PG is breathtaking!
