The stripes went in the bin before i took the next picture LOL! The fireworks don't look to bad but .... bit naff/tacky looking, but the black leather is starting to look like a keeper.

A clear p/g with interchangable sheets underneath is something Yamaha did with some of the guitars back in the 80s/90s, I always thought it was a neat idea. The trick is make sure that whatever you put under the p/g is on high quality paper or plastic. It's a great way to put photographic images on your instrument without having to go the custom route, cheaper too.

Oh yeah, leather not bad at all, fireworks so so, stripes NOOOO! :)

Ha ha :D

Danny I have to say that for me, standard black on the sunburst is the only way to go - however for other colours these work well (I love Ragin Rog's Dargie with zebra stripes). Can't wait to see something like this on a Bongo as well.

Yeah there is only the black one left in the running, the "antique looking leather" effect is kind of nice looking (slightly different if nothing else) but it still just looks great with the clear guard on it.

If you have a dremmel it is easy to make one. I made the one on Danny's bass in less than an hour.
