I have a white pearloid pickgaurd I am wanting to put on my roasted black sugar, will there be any issues with the neck when I remove all the strings, or is there any advice anyone can give me to do.

Thanks in advance!!

Don't worry, you can remove all the strings. No problem with the neck.
Every time I change the strings, I remove all the strings, clean the fretboard and after that I put the new strings. Same procedure with all my guitars and even my non-EBMM are able to survive ...

As the guys have said - you won't have any probs.

BTW, I'm gonna be changing the pickguard on my BCB AL. Gonna change it from a 3 pot set up to a 2 pot set up.
I'm just fed up hitting the volume knob. So will have a combined vol/tone pot for the mags and the second volume knob for the piezo. will prolly happen within the next couple of weeks.

How do you ensure the pickups are the proper distance from the strings when you add new pickguard? Is it super easy, or do have to fuss with it to get it right?

I'll measure the existing pickup height and then dial that in when I change them over to the the new pickguard - note to Spud - get in touch with Smelly when yer back in the uk, to get the replacement pickguard.
