Bouth several pickguards from him for the SR4, with and without trussrod wheel cutout. On all of them, the neck pocket was not wide enough and I had to sand them down a bit. Unfortunately, it was just a very small amount and hence I scratched the neck of the 'Ray where I tried the first pickguard on...

However, all the other wholes are exact fits.

I ordered several pickguards from him.

2 required some filing/sanding, SR4 guard was
too tight @ the neck pocket and an SR5 guard
was too tight @ the pots/controls. Minor fixes,
most fit perfectly.

He'll do a HH SR if somebody sends him a template. He has to start somewhere when new models are released.

What I don't get.... why do they need to get Pickguards sent to them? If I was doing that sort of business I'd go buying the originals as reference...

I strongly recommend AGAINST ORDERING from Dazbootman Pickguards.
Have ordered a pickguard from him recently and didn't receive it. Absolutely no communication. Didn't get my money back since 45 days passed to open a paypal dispute.

Brian Boots has a long record of ignoring customers.
