(the plastic)

killer quilt !!!!!
congrads !!!!!

Oh, I'll get that plastic off in due time! ;)

I only played it for a few minutes at my local EBMM dealer, then I took it home and just gazed at it for a while, and then I had to get moving!

This is my first quilt top. I love it. It's a work of art, and a real testament to the skill and craft of all who worked on her at the factory.

Now I just have to get two kids bathed and put to bed, then I can get to know this new arrival a little better.

BTW..

Thanks for all the Y2D compliments and the well-wishing for my daughter. She had a wonderful 4th birthday.

The Y2D is amazing... I can't believe the sustain.. with a Floyd bridge, no less!
I got to noodle around on it tonight, playing thru the Roland Micro Cube (which was a Christmas present from the kids).

What can I say that you haven't heard before? The fretwork is flawless. The finish is breathtaking. The neck plays like a dream. The pickups are powerful (must be the purple pusm). I can't decide if I'd rather play it or ogle it.. either way it's a joy!

I think I can safely sell my last Ib@nez now. :)

 That is one fine piece of art... Congratulations!

I played a Y2D in the Musicstore in Koln a few weeks ago and I don't think it's gonna take very long before I order myself one of those...

You guys can thanks "Von Tomas" for the tops we've been getting. He's been on the money with our vendors! Awesome Tomas! If you took your Open House tour in my group, Tomas was the guy doing all the talkin' for me.

Dargin,

I was in your tour group. Major thanks to Tomas for sourcing some beautiful maple!

Sean,

I'm excited for you. These Y2D's are works of art (but then, aren't all the EBMM guitars?). Makes for a long week when you know it's coming, eh? ;)

You've had enough time to get to know her. Give us your full review!

I'll do that tomorrow (Friday)...

I have band practice tonight, so she'll be making her 'debut'! My singer (PghTopCat on this forum.. he also plays guitar) is going to fall over when he sees this beautiful creation!

Can't wait to hear it thru my 'big' rig.
