So I’m hacking it alone on this 84 Sabre with pre eb Sabre pickups, and I’m wondering how much difference does like 1/32 make in terms of sound. Like will the bass response be better? Will the bass knob be stronger or something? I’m not sure, or is it just a volume and balance thing where the pickup height doesn’t really have much of an impact on the tone. I currently have them at a place where I’m happy with them and it was a real pain to get them there, but I’m thinking of setting them back to what my tech had them at, cause they sounded really good, but also maybe I’m embellishing the memory cause I know I can’t get them back there cause I don’t know the measurements
