ok so this isnt the typical question (i think), but on my SR4 HH...the neck H pup is raised up toward the G string and i notice that when i play notes near the 12 fret G and above/around that area i hear this phenomenon where it sounds like theirs a overtone or something, it isnt the intonation, and according to a tuner the note is in tune... i notice that when i push the pick up down the noise goes away. the noise sounds like an oscillation of sorts, kinda like when you tune using two harmonics. what is this, and why does it occur...

im guessing that lowering the pup height will fix it, but im wondering if anyone can give me some incite.

Margin of "Pickup to String" can be pretty technical at times. A lot of times it's overlooked during "set-ups and general maintenance".

I try and dial it in within a thickness of a hair.
