hey guys i am new here and had a quick question regarding my 2008 JP6 loaded.

If I was to want to change the orientation of the bridges D-Sonic pickup so that the bar on the pickup was facing the bridge instead of facing the neck pickup like the factory does it, would it LITERALLY be as simple as removing the strings, unscrewing the pickup from the body, turning it around and screwing it back down? or is there more to it like wiring arrangement problem, etc?

The reason I am contemplating this is because while I like the sound of the guitar, I feel like the guitar could use a better treble response through the amp im using.

Yup, it really is as simple as that... However, the PU wires may not be long enough for this simple flip, hence, you may have to rewire a bit.

You can just solder some extra wire on if the lead is too short. Usually best if it's shielded, but inside the cavity (which is all shielded) it wouldn't make much of a difference.
