ahh, so then is there a sleeve or nut or something that the screw goes into? or does it just go strait into the wood?

and jon, i wasnt trying to be a smart ass or anything. i was just ignorant about the whole screw situation.

There is an insert that is sunk into the wood that the screw goes in. And don't worry Travis I was not offended

ahh ok, it all makes sense now. after i saw the machine screw i assumed there would be something that it would go into. otherwise youd have screws poppin out more often, no? but i shouldnt have even thought of that because mm is just that good. and its a good thing i havent offended you, if i ever need to send a bass to you, i probably wont, but if i do you might sick the dog on it, and that is scary. :D

I had the same problem (looks like it's common!) but the Lock Tight fixed it. It's been a year since I did it, and I haven't had the problem since.

pretty much. some of us had to learn the hard way (me!) or just learn whats going on (you look really stupid when you dont know what your talking about!), but pretty much if you listen to jon and do what he says youll be ok!
