my fingers often hit the pole pieces on the pickup, and i was wondering if there is anyway to lower the pickup height?

There are 3 screws on your pickup, they are used to adjust pickup height.

I found that the palm of my right hand sometimes made low B touch the pole pieces on my Bongo 5 so I lowered the pickups considerably. The Bongo's electronics are so hot that I still get a great signal.

I would say measure the distance from the strings before you move it and know where to put it back should you become unhappy with it after you lower it. Then the right size screw driver and do it yourself. Nothing hard about setup on a MM bass.
