Hey all,

I'm thinking about putting in some Filtertrons with English mounts into my Albert Lee HH, but I wanted to see if anyone knew what kind of routes were done on the body. Are they the standard dog ear humbucker routes or similar to the Axis with the triangular routes?

Too lazy to remove my pickguard to take a look and I'm sure one of you have looked under the hood of the Al HH :)

I've had mine off, and seem to recall that it was two humbucker routes, just as above. Not a swimming pool. Oof, imagine the nerves taking the first chunk out of your Al HH with that router....

It's kind of cool, you can see the additional route made to the SSS cavity prior to being painted.

Hey Pete, what is the black canister thing on the right of the scratchplate shot, in the wiring? Is that a battery, or filter or boost gizmo of some kind?

Sorry, not Pete, but it's the EBMM Silent Circuit. I believe it's basically another coil to cancel hum for the single coils on that pickguard.
