Hi!

Short version:
Is the body of the ebmm sub1 guitars with a single humbuckers routed for HH ?

Long version:
I just bought a ebmm sub1 guitar from musiciansfriend, but got the wrong guitar. I got one humbucker and tremolo, when what i wanted was HH and stop tail. Now, i used www.jetcarrier.com to get the guitar to Norway where i live, so a return would be a waste, as i would have spent half the price on sending the guitar and the vat. So, what i'm thinking is i have 2 options. Either i sell the guitar (can probably get the same price i paid, since Norway is friggin expensive and they retail at almost twice the price) Or i put in another pup of my own choice. Now, what i wonder is if the body of the guitar is routed for HH, even if its a H guitar? It seems so, but i wont unscrew the pickguard in case i'll sell it.

As you can see, i'm new to this forum, but i tried to search for this and got no clear answers.

The trem will sound a little different from the hardtail (a little brighter/chimier)even if you block it. I'd sell the guitar and get what you really wanted. I've found that if I compromise my buying, I end up buying what I REALLY wanted anyway. I just end up with more stuff.

And thats a bad thing? hehe. Well, i'll probably end up selling it, as i'm really short of cash after stumbling upon this great deal on a Peavey Wolfgang (is that blasphemous here? :p ). But most people who've considered it comments on the single humbucker, so it would be great to know if i could mention the possibility of adding another humbucker without having to tear the guitar apart :D

You could route another spot out but you would ruin most of the resale value. Wait- do those have pickguards? You may as well start over. Did I mention I am selling my Axis?

Haha, Axis *drool* How much? ;)

I'm not thinking of putting a mic in it before i'll eventually sell it, i'd just like to know if its routed, so that i can tell potential buyers there is no problem putting in a extra mic if they want one more.

See the sig. Probably not what you are looking for if you bought a SUB. It's got the MM-90s. It's cheap and in great condition though.
