I am thinking about changing the bridge pickup on my AL SSS model. I like the clarity of the stock Seymour Duncans, but I am looking for for punch and bite. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, or feedback. Thanks

I put a SD JB Jr in the bridge of an AL I had and liked the results, thinking of doing it to the one I have now.

Try the Seymour Duncan Twangbanger. It is supposed to have more bite than a standard Strat pup.

I agree with Rob changing PUPs will kill the bridge+middle magic position

I would rather suggest to add an external boost pedal or take advantage of the 9V battery that feeds the silent circuit and add on of those EMG tone controls that can do wonders
