Question Pickups for SUB-1

I have realized that humbuckers just aren't for me even though these are good. Thinking maybe somw GFS P90'S or Surf 90's which are dynasonic style. Any ideas on a humbucker sized single coil on the tight budget? Jazzmaster style tone would be perfect.

I've heard lots of good things about GFS and have quite the following. Good luck though cause pickup shopping/searching is fun....and never ending!!!

Thinking maybe P90's that have a good top end and are not too high output. I prefer low output pickups.

Pricey is not in the budget........if I was rich I would have an Albert Lee

I forgot to mention that a few months back I put Seymour Duncan Phat Cats in another

Guitar that I own. I have the same issue with Humbuckers. The Phat Cats are a P-90's

Single in a Humbucker enclousure. I think this would be perfect for the Sub. You can

Probably get the Surf 90's from GFS a try sometime
