I want to change both pickups on my jp6 w/piezos to get a more aggressive sound (need to play old style trash metal).
I thinked about active pickups (emg's 81/60 or duncan blackouts), is possible to put those on my jp6(like on luke)? is possible to use the same battery as piezo's got? and can i set the pickups selection switch to get both pickups on in center positions(emg can't split)?
Any other suggestion, maybe for passive PU's (like dimarzio x2n o SD invader)?
