... please tell us full story when try it!

Also would like to know what sounds better for You series or parallel switch position?

Keep in touch! ;)

Will do. Full report is forthcoming.

Since I have three different EBMM single H 5-strings, comparing them should be enlightening.

I cannot wait to see/play the actual bass when it arrives on Tuesday April 6th.

Very nice, Nick!! A treat for my eyes.

Thanks, I'm glad that you like the photos.

Hey, it's 5:00 A.M. here and I'm still up after a gig, can you guess why?

I can't stop thinking about this bass and looking at the pics!

I wasn't sure how I would like it in Candy Apple Red, but it looks really good! Congrats on a really nice bass!

Thanks for the congrats and compliment!

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of red and I wasn't really sure that I would like it in this color. However, I actually think that Candy Red suits the Big Al 5 single H especially well.

I can't wait to see/play it this coming Tuesday! BRING ON THE RED!

I need sound clips!

please please please please please please!

Unfortunately, I don't have the "means" to do that... :(

A full written report comparing all three of my EBMM single H 5-strings is forthcoming. I'm pretty good with descriptive terms; hopefully I'll be able to share some enlightening observations.

Here's a review from a previous posting of mine:

Sterling 5 single H: aggressive, "in-your-face," and snappy

Bongo 5 HH: smooth, clean, deep and rich

Bongo 5 single H: smooth, clean, warm and "pleasant sounding"
___________________________________________________________

I want to add that the Sterling 5 single H also has "grit and attitude."

Not gonna lie, this made me want a Big Al. The red does suit it very well congrats on adding a great member to an already awesome family.

Nice bass - it'll be interesting to hear how it sounds with single H.

Not sure if you're aware but a British guitarist from the late 60s early 70s has a famous guitar called 'Big Red' - he was my favourite guitarist at the time!

Thinking that these pics may influence some of you into purchasing a Big Al is really cool!

Missing In Action

Has anyone but myself noticed the absence of responses to this thread by both adouglas and bovinehost? Has this thread caused insurmountable G.A.S.?
I do look daily for their responses but I must admit that my feelings are starting to get hurt. :(

To the above mentioned "missing in action" knuckleheads:

All joking aside, I'm just very interested in your thoughts on my recent EBMM acquisition since you both have mentioned an interest in getting one, or in Jack's case, another one in this particular pickup congfiguration.
