I'm a godawful photog, but I took my Powder Blue Ray into the sun yesterday for some quick pics:

I think all the Classics I've seen so far have had birdseye maple necks - I opted for flame:

I'm bringing it out to play for the first time tonight, through my new Markbass rig (always had a LMK II, just got 2x10 and 1x15 Markbass cabs!)

That is nice !

It certainly is! Big thanks to BP and the boys for introducing this model, which got me into EBMM again. I had picked up a used Stingray to use in the interim while I waited for my Classic to arrive, and gigged with nothing but that one for the past few months. When I had to sell it (after my Classic came in), I was forced to gig with one of my "other" basses - I have to say, it was the first time I was worried about a gig in a long time!

So psyched to bring out the Classic tonight!! :D:D

Flame looks great! Gonna sound killer thru that rig.

Is it me or does tort work with almost EVERY EBMM color? :)

CONGRATS!

Its the contrast in colors that makes it work. Been brought up in other threads I have read recently. Plus, tort is rich, deep, and freckly under the lights, so there are 2 reasons why tort looks so good.

Great bass, congrats. I have confirmed my love for the flame maple necks (not that I despise the birdseye, but its just not my thing).

First, I love your bass. Second, I've been using a LMK II with MB 2x10 and 1x15 cabinets for a few years now. Doesn't that setup KILL?

And you can just fling it around, it's so light.
