Where's the best place to see pics of different colored Albert Lees? I particularly want to see one in cherry sunburst. I'd be much obliged.

Okay guys - more questions: is the piezo option new this year? Anyone tried it? How about the neck shape, the Axis is my favorite neck of all time and I see the Albert has the same radius, frets and scale length, is it similar in feel at all? Anyone modded theirs with replacement pickups? How are the stock pickups?

I'm thinking of these colors:

Tobacco Burst
Cherry Burst
Pacific Blue Burst
Vintage Sunburst
Honey Burst (but I already have my Axis this color)
White

All with a white pearloid PG and trem (no MM90s, though)

Any suggestions or comments?

I've got the piezo on mine - love it... There's no dedicated switch to go between mag & piezo like there is on the Axis SS or Petrucci, so I just got a 6165 stereo/pan pedal to allow me to footswitch between the two (still waiting for my stereo cable to come in to make it nice and clean).

The neck is very similar to my Axis - nice and easy to go between the two. I have the MM90s - haven't evn thought about switching them out - I like em...

Also, I really love that gold one up in the middle of Fogman's post - who owns that one?

You mean the Yellowish collage?
I think I got that from an online dealer (maybe Ebay).
I don't believe it's from anyone here. I could be wrong.

Yeah, that's the one - very nice...

The only issue I have with the piezo model is that the Mag volume knobs pretty close to the strings. I'm probably going to switch the tele knobs out for low profile ones. I find I need to hook my pinky around the volume knob when I play U2-type songs with B and E string muting...

Just wondering how you like the 6165 - do you lose much volume or does it keep the signal pretty strong? I am tempted to pick one up for my Sil Special, but am wary of destroying my magnetic sounds,
