I saw this color for the first time on a petrucci, but never on a Luke, and one day, I found this beauty on ebay, from an australian. It was my lucky day.

Yes, when I was researching your Luke, I noticed that it had been originally shipped to Australia, and noticed you were in France. It was the only Blue Dawn Luke shipped to the land down under, and now it's in France, to where we shipped exactly none of these. But there's one there now ....! :p

lol, in my mind, I always thought that a guitar as that awaited me. Really, I don't know how. And the story is really amazing.
When this guitar was on ebay, I was the best bidder until the last minutes. A few minutes which have is enough so that another bidder can take the bidding to me. I was so sad, no one couldn't help me at this point. But after five days, the seller contacted me for a second chance, indeed, the another bidder didn't send an e-mail to the seller. Oddly, I found again my smile!!!
Since this day, I am so grateful to have the guitar of my dreams, with the signature of Lucious moreover.
Now, I don't miss it any more that a jam with Lukather, and I can die quiet!!!:D

So I went to visit keith back in the day. The SiLO is mine After I changed the pick guard from White Pearloid to abalone. Before I put EMG's and the abalone topped knobs. The Luke is kbaims. A bass playing friend of his also had a Blue Dawn.

Can you explain the Al bert Lee pick up configuration

Custom made by EBMM or a personnal upgrade ? and how is the sound compare to a silo ?

really curious about the sound... I have heard so many good things around the Al that I am now seriously considering going for one...I am now even used to the body shape :p

The humbucker, I am pretty sure, is a PAF Pro. The guitar was built for a former employee/associate of EBMM and old friend of mine.

It just doesn't get much cooler ...

Thanks Dan for the info and kinderness :) as always !

From what I remember, it is a PAF Pro, so Dan is The Man yet again!

I haven't had the chance to compare it to an HSS SiloSpecial, but it is certainly a fun axe to play.

Generally I use this guitar for cleans. The best sound I have found so far is position 4, which is the bridge coil of the bucker combined with the neck pickup, I believe in series. This axe has the silent circuit, too.

On the HSS SiloSpecial, position 4 gives you the neck single and the middle single in parallel.

A shot with and without flash and one with natural light at an angle that can show off the Blue Dawn finish.
I like how they are all a little different, and some are bluer, and some darker.
