Here are pics of my Michael Kelly Dragonfly Fretless 5 A/E Bass. (Still raining here so indoor pics will have to do for now.) I am thoroughly enjoying this bass. Strung it with E-B Group IV flats and it just sounds excellent. Built in Korea (hence the $520.00 price tag) but it truly is a quality machine.

Even the brand name is inlaid!

....I still don't understand how they can make something like that and make a profit on $500. That is a nice looking bass. How does it sound un -amplified?

I don't get it either. There is so much inlay that I wouldn't think it would be too inexpensive to build. And the maple? It truly is a gem as far as I can see.

As for unamplified I can't really say. It sounds softer than I would expect but I've never owned an acoustic before so I'm not a good judge. Also I play fingerstyle only; I imagine that playing with a pick would yield better volume. But the tone is good unamplified.

Probably one of the coolest things was buying it from Music 123.
• 12 months no interest with their Music 123 card
• Free shipping (Which I declined because I just HAD to have it the next day!)
• 45 day trial period / return policy

How much for the Goliath III cab? I've got a friend who loves SWR and may be interested?

550.00 which includes shipping. I bought it new for $900.00 in april. I bought a 12 stack that I absolutely love but due to the impedence mismatch between the cabs I can't use it. Its the 4 ohm version and its never seen a gig and right now its being used as a stand to hold my cd bass trainer. It definitely needs a good home. :D

Let us know how it sounds on stage (if you play out).
I'll let you know by the first part of December. I bought it to semi-simulate an upright acoustic bass for a Jewish musical called Shalom Jerusalem by Paul Wilbur that our church is doing the beginning of December. It does that quite well but I'll be anxious to see how it sounds at the actual performance.
