I know how nice the Luke is. I have to get an Axis soon. It'll likely be my next EBMM.

When I saw that Luke i'd swear it was a Radiance Red...How's radiance red compared to Candy red? Is it brighter or what? (haven't seen a candy red EBMM in real life yet:eek: )

Nice axes!

I think Candy Red is a little darker, more a marroon color. I used a flash and it made the color look lighter than it is. Radiance red seems a little more fire engine red to me, definitely lighter than the Candy.

Sorry I didn't polish them first and I'm not a great picture taker. But I know if you don't post pics then they don't exist, so I wanted to throw some up here. :D

I've had the Axis SS most of the year. Just got the Luke a few weeks ago - and loving it, never thought I would be an "EMG guy". After years of overpriced underperforming guitars from other unnamed manufacturers, I'm a confirmed EBMM convert!

Questions for the experts: There is a date on the Luke's shipping box, is that the born on date for the guitar? I thought I read that here. I've been a long time lurker, drooling over all the pics, so I want to say thanks to everybody for posting them. And of course thanks to EBMM for making the best guitars and basses in the world.

Dude. You sneak into my house or what? I have a Rosewood ASS and a Rad REd Luke too.

Long time lurker...

I have several vintage pieces and had heard many nice things about EBMM necks.

I had to post since your in DFW. I NEVER saw/played a Luke in DFW (not even at any of the shows) until this weekend. Stopped into GC for the usual walk around and low and behold, not 1 but 2! Lukes.

Man does that thing play like a sex machine. :D After an hour or so I gassing bad for a Radiance Red LUKE. They had a black one...I put a word in with Santa that I dug it.

Yeah I have never seen many around either. They are definitely sexy guitars! I saw that black one, it was nice and stealthy.
