Have the classic deluxe with maple neck; tried the mutes yesterday for the 1st time, LOVE them. I have been using palm muting for quite a while, but the string mutes on the bridge is a bit different. Definitely gives a flatwound type of thump, but still get the low-mid growl and some punch.
