I am curious as to what the techs at EBMM would suggest here:

Is using taper-core strings (mainly just the B) NOT recommended when you have a piezo equipped bridge? In other words, is it better to have MORE surface area contact with the bridge saddle by using regular (non-taper core) strings as opposed to taper-core?

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have tried a set of another brands flats which used a narrower contact point for the B string with a piezo bridge; I was NOT impressed with the result personally and put Slinkys back on. YMMV
