Been very very happy with my SR4HP for the last 4 years but i am rolling off the humbucker now and soloing the Piezo p/u under the bridge,It gives a massive deep warm sound despite it´s location... Any one agree with me ?

I was reading a thread yesterday on TB about piezo only basses. I haven't done much experimenting on my HHp but it sounds like something I want to work on.
I also have a Bongo 5Hp Fretless in the Blue Neptune package on order. I've heard the piezo only works especially well with fretless so I will definitely be trying that out.

I had a HP4 about five years ago - A very special one with a luthier varnished neck in satin. They're a really nice bass. Get that piezo going on its own and play over the end of the fingerboard for a very passable double bass-alike sound.
