Played a jam night on Thursday and my set up was:-
Black Cherry Burst AL going into an EB stereo pedal splitting the Piezo to the AER and the mags to my Mesa F50 via a Behringer Blues Overdrive.

I played a solo spot just using the piezo at one point and afterwards walked to the back of the venue and was approached by an guy who said "How the hell were you getting that acoustic sound - what the hell is that guitar?"

I played another spot later on and at the end of the evening started to pack up my gear.

As I was doing so, the same guy approached me again and was wanting to know more details about my set up. We got talking about things in general and got into Martial arts - he's an instructor of over 30 years ( I had studied Kai kashinkai and Shotokan for 10 years - don't ask me how we got onto that topic when talking about piezos.)
He said "well with a set up like that I only need to take one guitar to venues" - he was "slayed".

So another convert to EB guitars chalked up ;)

I get 3X the number of compliments on my tone when I use the piezo. It just really floors folks.

BTW 3 X 0 = 3 right?

Ha nice posts - just had a rehearsal tonight with new bandmates ... and they are amazed by the tone. They love the sound of the mags too.
It was a lot of extra dosh to get the Piezo (for me) at the time I bought the AL. But I'm sooooo glad that I made the decision to get one. I have one on the JP too - just wish that my LEal had one - but still, 2 out of 4 EB guitars having a Piezo can't be bad.

I'll be playing Wednesday and Thursday night so lets see what people have to to say then.

It's so good to link up with new bandmates and talk about what covers we're gonna do - so diverse a set list from Pink Floyd to James Gang to CSNY to Take That to Little Feat to John Hiatt.
3 (x 0 ;) tips the hat to Kbaim ) good singers in the band and the harmonies even after 2 hours of rehearsals make the hair on the back of your neck stand on end. Today has been a good day!
