Help! Piezo sound coming through magnetic toggle

Hi guys,

I've had my JP15 for 2 months now and recently I've noticed that when I play with the volume off I can still hear the guitar coming through the speakers. At the moment I'm using a standard guitar lead in the mono output of the guitar and have narrowed it down to being the piezo (mag volume down, piezo up but toggle on mags only).

This is my first MM and as great as it is, is this normal for the jp's to do this? I would have thought that if I was toggled in mags only with the volume down, nothing should sound. It doesn't bother me for home practice but when I crank it at practice and live it's really noticeable.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Odd. So you're all the way on mag pups with that selector, with the mag volume down. You're plugged into the mono jack...

Weird. Maybe post a video showing how loud it is?

I get a little bleed through, but it's rarely been enough to be distracting. I thought it was weird, but I figured it was because the pups are so hot.
 
Volumes its nowhere near the mag volumes at full but the bleed is audible enough that it would be heard between songs.

A noise gate can cut it out but it would need to be high enough that it would cut out any long sustain.

Hey, I've also got a similar concern on my JP15 Quilt, with my PUP Selector on MAG's only, and both Magnetic and Piezo Volume levels all the way down, I can still hear my guitar through my amp if I tried to strum hard.
 
Bump thi thread. Same happens to me: mag and piezo volume all down, 3 way switch on "mag only", still hear a little amount of sound if I strum hard on my JP 6. Nothing happens on my Majesty. Though it was a defective preamp but it seems "normal"?

Yes, even with piezo volume all down the sound pass a little. I checked and the pot seems to be good, 25kOhms and almost 0 ohms when closed… any other thing I can try?
