When I was making plans to build my splitter box... I saw Spudmurphy's post & intended to follow his diagram...But I could not find those type of jacks.

So I used standard Switchcraft jacks.

As for the wiring that I used...here it is very simply.

After you mount the jacks in the enclosure (stereo jack in the middle...mono jack on each side)...

1. Wire all the sleeves together.

2. Wire the tip of the stereo jack to the tip of one of the mono jacks.

3. Wire the ring of the stereo jack to the tip of the other mono jack.

That's it.

With the switchcraft jacks...it is very easy to see what tab goes to what (tip, ring, sleeve)...so that makes it very easy to wire up.

Hello
I have been reading your posts.
Maybe you can help me out
I just use a TRS cable and connect one output to the accoustic amp and the other to the electric amp, but sound is not splitting, magnetic and piezo both sound in the 2 amps.
Is that because I dont have the DI box?
