Anyone own a hardtail ver of AXIS SS and changed the saddles to the GRAPHTECH string savers could share what size/model they used? The spacing is kinda like an F-spacing even though its a hard tail

Thanks!

I just ordered a set for my Silhouette Special from GuitarCenter.com. (I break D strings like nobody's business). It should arrive tomorrow.

Email the factory and ask them which to use.

I am wondering if I should try to install them myself or just take it to the local repair shop. They do good work there, but... I am a cheapskate by nature.

Tim O has done this- he'd probably know. Graph Tech should know- I'd start by emailing them.

I've got a Graph Tech bridge on my Morse with the graphite piezo saddles. Cool. Definitely changes the tone a bit.

I modded my first Ball afew years ago - email Graphtech and they will tell you what set you need - P6000 from memory, but don't trust that...

What you need is a set of PS-8000-00 String Saver Classics. I have these on all my guitars, and I hardly ever break strings these days. To my slightly war torn and battered ears, they don't really change the sound that much.
