So I've been loving the newer Morse I bought on eBay a few weeks back. Decided to try something other than black for the p/g ... thought I'd share.

For p'ups I've got a set of Axis Sport humbuckers (thanks John for trading with me for the zebras!) and two Bill Lawrence L200s in the middle (like them better than the Areas I have in my other Morse). 500k pots. The standard Morse wiring.

Definitely a bit of a different tone from this guy- the Axis pickups sound great in there! The Morse 'bucker is still my fave, but it's nice to have something different to play around with.

it's good to see the original Morse still gets the recognition it deserves. On a side note Beej, I wished I had your grass....

Thanks guys! Yep, loving it. Such a great guitar, the Morse. Can't wait to get home and put some more miles on 'er.

John- glad you like those p'ups! I'll have to buzz you for a full review. I've got some more on order.

Pete ... do tell ... interested to see what's coming out of yer laboratory next

As for the lawn, man it's a battle this summer - a full time job. Worst raccoon year ever- every night is a total assault where they tear it apart. I've tried everything, have a couple of motion sensor sprinklers out there and (with my night vision goggles) I watch the l'il bastards working away anyway. Next project: install the electric fence kit to keep 'em all out! (Seriously, I did buy one.)

Hey Beej,

Love that look, so much nicer than the plain black, really makes the blue stand out, if i get a Morse will definetly do something similar:cool:

if I had night vision googles I wouldn't be using them on raccoons...;)
