I quite liked that rig too. Yamaha pre, Aussie-made Jands 600 power amp (only 2x300 watts but too heavy to be stolen by less than 4 adult males). 2 x EV-TL15 cabs. Down here that was the standard bass rig in the 80's.

Pictures of me playing bass in the 80s would have me in a cowboy hat with boots and jeans. I would never listen to country on the radio so every time a new song came out that the band wanted to play, they had to bring in a cassette of it so I could learn it.
