I don't know if I would go so far to say that the fingerboard is rare...the hair, maybe. :D

Don't mind my smart a** remarks...pulled an all night recording session, and I'm a little loopy right now. :)

Seriously, I've seen quite a few Axis models with a rosewood fingerboard, so I would have to say no. I like the top though...

I've seen Axis Sports and Super Sports with rosewood boards, but this is only the third AXIS I've seen with a rosewood board, and I've been watching, 'cause I really want one... I let a lovely blue quilt one slip by about 15 months ago and I haven't seen another since - I won't make that mistake again! ;)

I believe the magic number is 50...don't get any ideas though... ;)

Newbie or not, we dig ya just the same bro. And as long as you aren't causing trouble, you're OK by me. :)

The rosewood fret boards were an option for a while. I have no idea how many were made.
