You are correct there Norm. I just checked my order sheet and it was ordered with White Ice as well as an additional Black Ice guard as well. Musta been a mixup or Jack ordered while on a Martini binge.

Little snafu there and the additional guard is not in the case but you know where to find me and it will be taken care of.

Too kind my friend. Too kind. We may have to fight over the check tho'. I like to take care of my favorite bass retailers. Jack, you ever in Tucson, din-din is on me.

That blue pearl sure is swell. Jack was right and I'm glad I listened to him. The white pearloid is actually quite fetching. Can't wait to get it into my grubby mitts. I'll post some pics with the white and black ice when I get 'em.

Steve and Jack, thanks for taking care of me. :)

'Tis a pleasure to deal with you, sir. If I'm ever in Tucson, go ahead and shoot me because aliens have taken over my brain. I mean, um, no, not aliens, don't shoot me, if I make it that way, you buy din-din (isn't that a tiny African antelope? No probs, I'll eat those) and I'll catch the first few rounds of martinis.

The blue pearl wasn't even on my radar screen until I called Dargin, begging him to sell me BP's Graphite Pearl Bongo. (My, things do change around here rather quickly.) "Here's what you want", he said, and I'm glad I listened to him. That bass has really become popular.

Plus then he suggested, initially, the pearloid white guard. It DOES look good, doesn't it? But then he also hooked me up with an abalone guard - something you might want to consider down the road?

So blame the evil alien warlord Dargin for that color and guard. When he's right, he's right.

I need to get some better photos of that bass with that guard on it.

Speaking of which, we expect photos of the Meeting of the Minds in AZ. I mean, Dude, maddog and NoRm? Yeah, take some photos, eh?

Thanks again, Tom.

I just wanna say once more, "Ack! Ack!  "

I'm not too kooky-crazy on the abalone on BP myself nor the red silks on the strings either (*achem*) but I'm mackin on a flaffel, doing Ouzo shooters and yelling "Oopa" with ya and NoRm Friday night and spitting olive pits at belly dancer's navels with impunity and doing hookah hits....that's all I know Mister Man....looking forward to it...you want the factory box with "born on" date stamped on it too?

Dude, if I wake up in a bathtub full of ice Saturday morning with a note taped to my chest telling me to dial 911, well I guess I'll be coming over for some steak and kidney pie around dinner time.

Wait until you see some of the locals balancing Ouzo shooters on their foreheads while bending over backwards then flipping them into their mouths...I think we should make NorM try it.
