he has some arrangement with e.b. that bass was a custom job. if you do a search for a thread about ashlee simpson, or a pink bass or something like that you should find a thread with pretty decent info about that topic.

Im not Jon, but I can tell you the answer is no. Heres why. Ernie Ball doesnt do custom work or the average player because they dont need to. It doesnt benefit EBMM as a company. If youre on TV, sure you get a custom bass. Thats just how it works.

Second, Jon has been hounded about the custom issue too much already. Enough is enough.

If you want a custom EBMM get a big gig, and get EBMM lots of exposure. Then youll see some custom models.

Can anybody tell me how I could get a custom sparkle pink Sterling? :D

1.) Either buy a Sterling or use one you already have.

2.) Disassemble the Sterling.

3.) Take the body to a reputable paint shop.

4.) Have the body painted Pepto Bismol pink with metal flake added.

5.) Reassemble the Sterling.

There you have it. A custom Sparkle Pink Sterling! :D

P.S. If you want the headstock to match, be sure and take the neck with you to the painter.

listen to saosin.. its his old band... one of my favorit bands.

Wait. Ashlee Simpson's bassist used to be in Saosin? That just really ruined that band for me. 7 Years is a rad song.
