I walked by Phil Jones booth and saw this cool pic of Pino with his old Stingray fretless - haven't seen him with this bass for a while - I think he used this bass for all of his 80s tracks with Paul Young and Henley etc. Anyway, good to see him playing this bass again!

the band name is formed from the musician's names - Pino (Palladino), Simon (Philips) and what's the keyboarder's name...?

Wooow, Pino Palladino & Simon Philips?

That's the rhythm section! :)

By the way, this keyboard player, maybe David Paich? (ex. Toto)

Wow, That's a very cool mate to have!! Did he pass any gigs onto you? :D

Hey Murph!!
He used to play in Cardiff the same time as me when we were both a lot younger.
He switched from playing Rhythm guitar to bass and we auditioned him not long after his switch - he didn't get the gig!!

We laughed about it the last time I saw him about 8 years ago!!

How on earth did he not get the gig????

I first saw him playing on "The Tube" with Paul Young.
Jools Holland raved about them and I was like, I have to play that!!
