I am pissed about my EBMM guitars.

Before I discovered these EBMM guitars, I had collected some very nice guitars.

-Rare Blackmore Set-Neck Strat (50 or so made)
-Rare Ibanez PS-1000BK 20th Anniversary Model (500 made)
-Korina Dean V
-Custom Jackson Soloist [GMW completely rebuilt with Maple top and back and vintage bridge.]

Now I never play these old guitars, because they just don't play as well or sound as good as the EBMM's.

Oh well, the old guitars are nice wall art I guess. Anybody want to buy some guitars?
:)

At least you didn't pay more for a LTD than you did for your first ball :p

Sadly it was nowhere close either :(

I never heard of a Blackmore Strat. Was that a signature guitar? That sounds pretty cool actually.

Here it is: RITCHIE BLACKMORE SIGNATURE SETNECK STRATOCASTER

The Progressive Scallop is nice. Set neck is interesting but takes a little resonance away.

Problems: Lace sensor golds must be replaced. I replaced all the electronics.
Trem Block should be replaced. I got a Callaham trem.
I had the 7.25" radius re-done to 10" requiring a re-fret.

A lot of expense to go through to make the guitar playable. Still has a pretty high action. I do like Blackmore though. Used to be my number one guitar. Now effectively retired.

The nice thing about having a few pints with your guitar is that it will probably let you finish the beer. :p

Yep, same here. Got a few very nice guitars that I have no desire to play anymore since buying my two 'balls this year :)

I've sold a boatload of Fenders, Gibsons, and Steinbergers over the past few years. Down to one strat (on eBay right now), and a few Jazz Basses (one is also on eBay).

None of my EBMMs are on the Bay, though.

I just got my first Ball (JP6 Red Pearlburst with all options) and haven't touched another guitar since (and I have many). I gave up an Ibanez J-Custom 8670DR (1 of 38 made) to get it and TRUST ME the EBMM was WELL WORTH IT.

EBMMs just feel right. I have other instruments that I will keep because of their signature sounds. But EBMM basses and also recently the guitars is "home" to me. Has been since I got my first as a 18 year old, and I guess will always be.
